Education Program Information Session Tuesday, December 2 at 5:30pm to 7:00pm ED 104 Get a jump-start on a career in Education without leaving our island home. Be a part of a growing population of students enrolling in these degree or certificate programs:

Leeward’s Education Program faculty and staff will present a free information session on Tuesday, 12/2/14 to explain these degree and certificate programs and answer any questions you may still have. The session will be from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, in ED-104.
The information session is open to the general public. Attendees will learn more about the degrees and certificates, and meet some of the instructors, counselor, academic coach, and students enrolled in the program. Leeward Community College’s AAT degree offers a solid liberal arts core and specific education classes that prepares students as entry-level educators or to transfer to a 4-year teacher education program. The program has articulations in place with UH Mānoa, UH West O`ahu, Chaminade University, and University of Phoenix.

Future Teachers Club Meeting Friday, September 19 at 1:00pm to 2:00pm → more dates through December 5, 2014 GT 220 The Future Teachers Club is an officially recognized student group at Leeward CC. Since 2006, community service, socials, professional development activities, and fundraising events help to provide a supportive learning environment where future teachers (or those just interested in learning more about teaching) can come together to network, support, and grow with one another.
Club meetings are held on the first and third Fridays of every month from 1-2pm.
